Pharmacy Avenue Underpass Mural

During the 2016 Budget process, Council decided to extend the Oakridge PB project for another 2 years.  Approved in the 2016 projects was the installation of a mural on the Pharmacy Avenue underpass.  This streetscape improvement is meant to bring street art to the community, beautify this location, continue the enhancement and rejuvenation of the neighbourhood, and help prevent vandalism.  A selection committee was brought together to shortlist artist and come up with guiding themes for the design portion of the...

Transit Notice – Line 2 Closure

During the weekend of March 18/19, subway service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth will be suspended between Kennedy and Warden stations for track work. Regular subway service resumes on Monday at 6 a.m. All trains on Line 2 will turn back westbound at Warden Station. Shuttle buses will operate between these stations during the closure.
