Eglinton Crosstown LRT

Many of you will have noticed that preliminary work has commenced on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.  This large transit project will be constructed over the next few years and includes the renewal of Kennedy Subway Station.  Unfortunately, during the construction period there will be effects on Eglinton Avenue East as the work proceeds.  We have been working closely with City staff to try as best as possible to minimize the impact of this work.  As you may know this project is being undertaken by the provincial government’s transit agency, Metrolinx and their contractors.  So, this is not a City project but as noted we have been seeking to try to reduce the impact as much as possible associated with the construction.  Further information is available on the website created by Metrolinx, click here to visit the website.
