Fire Prevention Week October 8th-14th

Did you know that roughly half of home fire deaths result from fires reported between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., when most people are asleep?  By having working smoke alarmscarbon monoxide alarms and a home fire escape plan, Toronto Fire Services seeks to help keep residents avoid  death or injury from fires. Fire Prevention Week 2017 will take place from October 8 – 14 this year. The theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!”.
