Fire Station Opens at 2575 Eglinton

Last September, I was honoured to be a part of the dedication for the new fire station at 2575 Eglinton Station 221. After two years of construction, this state-of-the-art facility is now open and serving the residents of Ward35. Highlights include a full back up generator (importance of which was demonstrated after last years’ ice storm), a decontamination room, green roof and bird protection windows.
