The University of Toronto Scarborough will be hosting a series of  FREE academic discussions and lectures examining the evolving role of immigration in Canada and internationally throughout the month of October. These will include comparisons between the U.S. and Canadian immigration systems, looking at the demographic and cultural impact of international migration, activists assisting migrants on their journeys or assisting border patrol in preventing them, and private refugee sponsorship.
