The Neighbourhood Youth Alliance (NYA) is proud to present the Green Sprouts project with support from the City of Toronto.Green Sprouts will focus on delivering financial literacy education to youth ages 15-29 in the Taylor Massey and Oakridge communities.
There will be a series of four workshops in each of the communities (Taylor Massey and Oakridge) during March 2016. The venue, specific dates/times will be announced in February 2016 to participants.
Each workshop will be approximately 2 hours and cover the following topics:
Session #1: #Goals (Smart Financial Planning)
Session #2: Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems (Banking, debts and taxes)
Session #3: Making Bank (Maximizing income and saving)
Session #4 Money Trees (Growing your wealth through investing)
You will get a certificate after completing all 4 workshops. It is important that you attend all of them. Food & TTC will be provided at every workshop. Participation is entirely free.
