Kennedy Station- Elevator Overhaul

TTC will be overhauling the elevators at Kennedy Station and replacing key components including pistons, main controller and pumps. Effective October 2, 2017, the elevator servicing customers between the Line 2 Subway Platform and the mezzanine level will be out of service until early January 2018.

Effective January 2018, the elevator servicing customers from street level to the concourse level will be out of service until March 2018. Elevator access between street level and concourse level will still be available from the GO Transit portal.

Transit Service

Extra bus service from Main Street Station on the 113 and 20 Service has been added to assist customers destined for Kennedy Station.

The accessible alternatives are:

East bound line 2 service to Kennedy:

  • Exit at Main Station to bus level and board a 20 Cliffside or 113 Danforth bus to Main Street Station. Preferred alternative because of improved service.
  • Exit at Victoria Park Station to bus level and board a #12 bus to Kennedy Station.
