Workforce Development Month

Throughout October, the City of Toronto will be hosting activities for job seekers and employers as well as events to showcase some of the City’s initiatives and partnerships with employers and community partners.

The City of Toronto is helping people find jobs and helping employers secure the skilled employees they need. The Workforce Development Strategy has three key objectives: ensuring that employers’ workforce needs are addressed, ensuring that unemployed city residents get access to opportunities and jobs, and delivering the best possible value to employers, job seekers, communities and the City for the resources invested in workforce development.

For up-to-date Workforce Development events and announcements, check out the events calendar, andioin the conversation on Twitter @TorontoESS and  with the hashtag #workoneTO.
